Book-Signing Event at Indigo |
October 25, 2005. Peter Mayle, author of "A Year in Provence" introduces his new book "Confessions of a French Baker", Friday, October 28th from 7 - 9 pm at Indigo, 55 Bloor Street West, Toronto. ACE Bakery will be providing fresh mini baguettes at the book-signing event. Anyone interested in France or French is certain to have read Peter Mayle's best-selling "A Year in Provence." Did you know that he has written about other things too? In addition to two Provence sequels, Peter Mayle has written three novels set in Provence and a couple of books on other topics. Mayle's books include: Hotel Pastis, Toujours Provence, Chasing Cézanne, A Dog's Life, Anything Considered, French Lessons: Adventures with Knife, Fork, and Corkscrew, Acquired Tastes, and Encore Provence . If you're looking for something funny and interesting to read, any of these books will fit the bill.
