Meet our 20 Artisans and their amazing foods!
It wasn’t easy
First, we want to thank all the food artisans who sent us their profiles and shared their stories and dreams with us. We received more submissions than we ever expected from food artisans coast to coast to coast. There was a common thread throughout that demonstrated a commitment to artisan ideals, a desire to learn and grow, and a love of good, natural, healthy food.
It certainly wasn’t easy selecting the 20 artisans you see below. If we could have accommodated them, we could have chosen twice or three times the number. It all came down to our judges thoughtful decisions based on our criteria that included adherence to artisan methods, the quality and uniqueness of the product, and the artisans’ vision for the future.
